Held (Lykke), born in 1987 in Denmark, is a contemporary artist living and working in Ebeltoft, Denmark. Her passion for art and creativity has been a strong part of her identity since she was young. Throughout her life, she has expressed her thoughts through drawing and painting. Her inspiration comes from nature, people, energy, and light, which she often explores in her pieces.
Held's approach to her art is ever-evolving as she grows as an artist "My expression evolves continuously as I develop as an artist. All my works reflect my emotions or energy at the time of creating the painting. I feel delighted when people read their own interpretations into my works and when it evokes an emotion. For me personally, each of my paintings is a reminder of the time it was created."
